Carrion was one of the highlights of my Camino, arriving wet through, many of the pilgrims were sporting blisters and general foot injuries which the sisters insisted on tending. I started my Camino last March 10th, unfortunately snow prevented us taking the mountain pass to Roncevalles and we heard a Camino rumour that 2 Korean pilgrims had to be airlifted off the mountian. Start my Camino in 2 days, :D , Fly into Biaritz on Saturday afternoon with train to SJPP, hope to start walking Sunday depending on weather and walking conditions, may wait in SJPP if looks like clearing during the week.
