    Just got back from completing the Portuguese route (from Porto) wearing walking boots and loved them-no foot problems at all. Saw people in all sorts of footwear including a woman in ordinary street shoes, so I guess it's purely personal preference. whatever suits you is best.

    New Service (2014) - Credential/Credencial

    A great idea Diogo. Just to say though, that anybody in the UK can get a credential from Peterborough Pilgrims (just google them). They will get it to you fairly quickly and will ease some of the burden from Diogo. Looking forward with some trepidation to the camino from Porto starting 11th May.

    Just booked my flights to walk Porto-Santiago for next May. I am intending to walk it in 10 days. (Just started in training by walking 6-7 miles a day and will increase gradually).
