I did it in one effort and am glad that I did. It takes a bit for the Camino to “work” on you and when it does, the experience of a lifetime.
Two years prior to my walk, my wife and a friend did the last 100 kms and that taste was enough to get me into planning for the longer walk.
The walk was...
I suffered food poisoning while walking and when I recovered I ate anything and everything. Lost 15 pounds while continuing to walk so I was hungry when able to eat again. It was all delicious
I stayed there last September and found the cook from San Fran to be delightful and most pleasantt. We chatted while she was preparing dinner and she was most pleasant. My Camino start was great.

I have been studying Spanish for about two months now to prepare for my camino and have used Durolingo (free on the internet, and covers basic words and grammar which is pretty good for vocabulary), and recently found a course entitled Synergy Spanish (also on the internet, but cost money). The...
You may wish to check one travel (https://www.onetravel.com/) as I have seen Iberian flights that are pretty inexpensive to Biarritz, FR, then take a taxi or bus/train combination to SJPP
