Hi Tony,
Welcome! My friend and I will also be there next spring. We will fly over together but walk/trike alone. I am taking my recumbent trike as I have balance and foot issues. She will walk. I have learned a lot from reading the forum.

I am only at the very beginning of training but I had trouble with my feet on a trike ride and found that the Injiji socks were comfortable and helped. I too have funny toes.

I plan to ride my recumbent trike next spring but my intention is to take 2 months only riding 15km/10mi a day. I will start in Pamplona. I go try my new trike tomorrow. I am only 60 but will also train for this trip. My doctor has agreed to work with me as I prepare. Thank you for your report...

Thank you.
Marian
I understand that there are bike routes that do not exactly follow that path that I can use to go around those narrow places. Do you know anything about that? It is part of the reason I am limiting my distance per day so I can go back an go around if I get stopped by conditions.
Thank you,
Marian
My question has to do with shower shoes and walking around town. Would crocs do double duty for that? I wear a 12 EE so it is hard for me to find shoes.
Thank you,
Marian
I am wondering. Do you see many people on tricycles on the way? I am planning to ride my recumbent trike next year but my goal is ten miles a day so I don't expect to be flying by anyone.
Thanks,
Marian
My friend and I are planning to travel in 2015. She will walk, and I will ride my recumbent trike. We are considering going in April and May. Our plan is to fly to and from Madrid together then divide up and meet again in Santiago to fly home. The other choice is flying to Pamplona and home from...
