Current plan is to go by train from Bilboa to Bayonne on Sept 8th...And to St. Jean on Sept 9th
Is it necessary to make reservations for the 4hr train from Bilboa and for French train to Bayonne? And for the next day a reservation for St Jean? Thanks Rose- RLwoodward

alternatives transportation from Pamplona to St. Jean
I've heard( but don't know the details) that some pilgrims arriving in Pamplona stay at an alburgue there and in the morning are taken to St Jean to begin their offical start . Does anyone have the details? The bus from Pamlona arrives in St Jean so late in the afternoon. I have reservations...- RLwoodward
