Regarding question 4- walking, hiking, even jogging is good for the lower back. You are building your muscles, abdominals and so forth. This gives you are stronger back. Helps to keep moving to keep from stiffness as well.

Is 5 weeks enough time to start on the French side and walk Norte to Primitivo to Santiago and able to spend a couple days in Lugo and Santiago. Flying from Oregon, U.S. Or is it much safer for me to just do the Camino Frances? Opinions please?
