    Regarding question 4- walking, hiking, even jogging is good for the lower back. You are building your muscles, abdominals and so forth. This gives you are stronger back. Helps to keep moving to keep from stiffness as well. Buen Camino! Katie

    Muchas Gracias! Great help. We will see what we are up to. We are getting older at 50 so maybe see if 6 weeks is possible and try the Norte/Primitivo first. Or, skip a couple days via bus. Great ideas..

    Is 5 weeks enough time to start on the French side and walk Norte to Primitivo to Santiago and able to spend a couple days in Lugo and Santiago. Flying from Oregon, U.S. Or is it much safer for me to just do the Camino Frances? Opinions please?
