I am thinking of walking the spiritual variant of the camino Portuguès next mid/ late April. Weather seems quite reasonable to this Canadian. Opinions? I would expect snow on the mountain but mid teen weather otherwise?
Also, experienced pilgrims, how does mount Almenteira ( ph) compare to...
I keep being grateful for all the blessings of « my » camino in 2013: I never encountered such rudeness except at the very end in Fisterra. Would a gentle grandmotherly nudge work, or would it generate anger in addition to rudeness?

Dear Lee - Please accept hearfelt sympathies for your loss... May you experience God's poweful healing, in all its forms, as you walk the wonderful Pyrénées and beyond. Love and joy WILL be on your path - I know, I've been there.

Enjoy these days, full of wonder and special moments - just a taste of the Camino and you will remember them just as much! And yes, we are all alike! But you can (if need be) brush up on a little Spanish or French, depending where you walk; train with friends every weekend at least; try your...
