Thanks very much for the detailed insights! Great info. Will keep researching. Doubt I'll get back over for another Camino till 2022 or later given Covid and personal obligations. So there's plenty of time to prep and research.
sjeanmarc. Thanks!!! I was aware of the Option 2 Route (Gavarnie and Port De Boucharo). I believe this is an old pilgrim route. But was not aware of Option 1. I'll continue to research. The route thru the Breche de Roland route and then down thru the Ordesa Valley looks wonderful as well...
Hello. Have been investigating routes from Lourdes. Does anyone have any experience/insights on a Lourdes-Gavarnie-Breche de Roland-Torla-Biescas-Sabinango- Jaca route? Looks interesting.
Rappahannock Rev. Thanks for your post. I was aware that there are many relics in Oviedo but not that the Sudarium was one of those relics. Good info in this thread! I too hope to be on a Comino route in Aug/Sept next year. Hopefully starting in Lourdes. I'll have to see if I can work out...
My son and I are scheduled to walk the Frances beginning the 2nd week in August. However, we're leaving from US. Odds are we'll have to cancel given travel restrictions between US and Europe. Good luck!!!!
Found this list of Alberque openings from Roncesvalles to Logrono on Gronze.

Pamplona, Church of Saint Ignatius had adoration when I was last there in Aug 2018. Read somewhere it was closed or being closed. Then you have the Eucharistic miracle on display in the Church in O'Cebrerio.
Jimmy,
How did your Camino turn out? Joshua caught a virus on the way to Carrion de los Condes so we were held up there for 2 days. Ended up getting to Santiago on the 19th. Hope you had a good Camino!
Jim
Jimmy, Yes! Hope to meet you on the Camino!. We had a few hot days last year. We're early risers, started our days around 0600, and drank a lot of water. Think we saw two days of rain and three really hot days so overall the weather was wonderful. We're hoping for more of the same this year...
Hello everyone! My name is Jim. Not new to the blog, but this is only my second post. First one was yesterday! Joined the blog back in early 2017. The blog has been a tremendous/valuable resource in preparing for our Caminos. What a fantastic virtual community. My son (Josh) and I walked...
