I'm asking as I went through the tunnel last time (2109). I'll be walking up this July and don't know of any other alternative to staying or passing through the tunnel.
If you look at @Magwood 's blog she has been to there from O Barqueiro which has a FEVE station. On FEVE you can get to Ferrol and the train/bus back to Santiago

Zubri was full in 2017 when I did my first Camino. Every year since (Covid excepting) Zubri is full at one time or another. So you bus/taxi to Pamplona and bus/taxi back the next day.
Try the Decathlon site who sell both new and returned (segunda vida) gravel bikes. A "second life" gravel will be fairly rare but you could pick up a second hand mountain bike for €150. (There is not a lot of difference between the two at the lower end of the scale)...
You could try OpenStreetMap. Use the Topo addition and then put in your starting point (Geneva Airport) and then Aigle. Shows a route along the shore (Littoral du Léman) There is a section where you are expected either to take a ferry or walk on water. Click on link...

There will be plenty of Decathlon stores around with inexpensive but good quality kit. Madrid is an expensive place to hang around waiting for luggage. Can you make arrangements to collect it on the way out?
Or take the train north to A Coruna ( 30-40 minutes )or south to Vigo (1 hour fast train) for the day. Plenty of trains on that line. Not expensive either. I know Vigo better than A Coruna.
I have Spanish dogs. Brought 4 of them over as family were moving back temporarily. There is no problem with the dogs and as the saying goes there are no bad dogs, only bad owners.
However what some may not know is that Spain has the highest levels of abandoned pets in the EU. One of the 4...
Context: The phrase 'E-bike' tends to refer to peddle-assisted system (PAS) and are restricted to 25km/h in the Europe. Other electric bikes which have hand throttles and don't need peddled meet the definition of motorcycles and should be ridden on roads with insurance and helmets.

Bicigrino will supply a handlebar bag which will contain the charger with the Spanish AC plug. No need for anything else to connect it to the mains. Not sure what an individual albergue would charge, if anything.
There was some discussion last year about battery charging at cafes along the...
I did this section in January and only saw 1 other pilgrim going to Santiago. Saw lots and lots going to Fatima though. Pilgrim statistics show less than 3000 pilgrims start at Lisbon for Santiago compared with 10 times this amount from SJPP and many, many more at Sarria.
Starting at Porto is...

The service area is Complejo Leo 24 Horas. It has accomodation if you find yourself out of steam by the time you get there. I think they also own Hotel Leo in Monasterio at the far end of town.
As I recall it was a bit of a climb from there to Monasterio so you might want to check the...
Contacting the local CSJ may provide an answer but it seems a strange request from the Spanish Embassy in the RSA. Would be great if @diandlola could shed some light on it. The Spanish Embassy pages actually say this -...
