    Long pants and long sleeves in summer? Smart or big mistake?

    I wear lightweight high wicking technical fabrics, long sleeve and long pants, I find it keeps me cooler and reduces risks of sun exposure.

    Buy a Spanish USB plug from any supermarket or mobile store, no Australian adapter needed, it'll work fine.

    Multipurpose shoes for shower and town?

    For shower and walking around town I would use Crocs, they are slso very lightweight. Don't think they would work well on the trail though.

    Privacy in the shower

    It depends on what camino you are doing. On the Via de la Plata it varies greatly between albergues. Very few had communal showers, most were single person sized cubicles. The more common issues are a lack of hot water or the wall attachment for the shower head being broken etc.
