    Stamps along senda litoral?

In the hotels you use and churches would be my first choice. As we did in May this year walking the Litoral. Cafés and restaurants may also have stamps, but not as numerous as other main routes.

    Caminho Portugues da Costa/Senda Litoral

Forgot to mention, we walked the central route from Porto to SdC last September, hence the return to walk only a portion of the Litoral. The routes are different, and to say one is "better" than the other would be irrelevant. My preference, if I expressed it, is particular only to me. But the...

    Caminho Portugues da Costa/Senda Litoral

Hi, We walk a portion of this route back in May from Porto to Caminha. The route is quiet and poorly way-marked after Vila do Conde, until Viana do Castelo where many pilgrims join the route, I assume crossing over from the central route. Having said that, you basically keep the ocean close as...

LIVE from the Camino Camino Portuguese Coastal Route - Tips & Tricks 🚶🏼‍♀️

There were a few boat taxis on the boardwalk that took pilgrims directly across to Spain without walking into Caminha.

LIVE from the Camino Camino Portuguese Coastal Route - Tips & Tricks 🚶🏼‍♀️

Hi @KirstyNotKristy We walked the Litoral to Caminha in May. Lovely walk, but we did a couple of slight detours you may want to consider. Just North of FAO is Parque Natural do Norte. A beautiful boardwalk walk takes you along the Cavado river to the bridge into Esposende. Appreciate, you may...

Thanks for the thread Noel & Annie, most enjoyable and definitely heightened our anticipation ready for our Portuguese Coastal Camino starting next month. We were lucky enough to walk the central route from Porto last September and enjoyed it so much we decided to return this year. For anyone...

If you have time take a tour of the Catedral de Santa, Great views from the roof (stairs in South West corner) and garden looking over Minho.

Our bags and accommodation were arranged together, so can't be precise about the baggage rate. Shop around, I suspect 10 to 15 Euro's would be about right, if you weren't staying in a remote location.

Now that's cleared up (and I've managed to delete a vision of 70 guys turning up at a small café along the route) can I ask if you intend to carry all your gear or send it on each day? We did the Porto route last September, stayed in some wonderful places using a courier service to transport the...

Starting our first in May 2022 / route plan , any thoughts?

Hi both, We walked the central route from Porto in 2021, our third Camino. Distances averaged 22km (approx!) which we found ok. (Both fairly fit in our late 50's). We did have a "day off" the Camino in Tui which was most welcome, explored the town, did the washing and drunk a couple of extra...

Trish Walked from Porto to Santiago, arrived yesterday. I talked to her this morning (July 17th 2020)

Thanks Trishb for leading the way and thanks to Ivar for the interview. Gives all of us sitting on our hands at home a real feel for the Camino as it is today.
