You might want to get a bag that is good to 45 F and a silk liner for emergency’s.
Don’t forget that you can always wear a sweater, socks etc. All of my hiking- Lausanne-Rome, had lodging of some sort- mostly monasteries . Make sure you have something for your head!!
I have a “Marmot nanowave35” that is very light and warm to 35F. I also use a Thermarest” pad which reflects heat and it incredibly light(a couple of ounces.
Make sure you have a pair of good socks
And a warm hat. A lot of heat is lost from your head.
Have fun🤗

I walked the Francigena from Lausanne to Rome sept- nov, with a lightweight “Marmot
Nanowave 35” sleeping bag. I’m 5’ tall and weigh 85 lbs. I had the bag altered cutting off the bottom excess. Make sure you have warm LAYERS!!!, hats and socks. I also used a “Thermarest” which reflects heat...
I have Oboz (waterproof)that I wore from Lausanne to Rome. Only twice were my feet wet-had to walk through stream or downpour .
You might want to try them- great for hiking
I hiked part of Francigena with a wide brim, with a looose straw weave, allowing a breeze
wire rim allowing for change in sun glare and wraprd a folded scarf to keep had when windy.
