Back from the Salvador - Wow! And bird warning :)
The Salvador is a wonderful walk. Some of the most memorable views I've had were on this Camino :)- uniQ

Starting the Salvador tomorrow
I used my running shoes, there is one stretch that's quite marshy and you'll likely get wet feet walking through it (I did) but change of socks and you'll be good to go. Other than that trainers were fine :)- uniQ
