    I was thinking it would be helpful on my camino to know how far it was to the next village, and I still agree. But I was imagining a GPS unit that would tell me how far it was. So I got a eTrex Garmin, but the getting of the map installed was too complicated and expensive. I finally got it down...

    A smoke free Camino :)

    I have a cousin in Spain who says, "well I'm sure that after They finish with the smokers, THEY are coming after us fat guys because we get more diabetes and cost the country money". I don't have an issue with the smoking regulations but I think that maybe its become a bit of a whipping post...

    A new french film about El Camino.....PEREGRINOS-PILGRIMS

    I'm confused. are both these films "St Jacques... la Mecque" and "Peregrinos" the same film? (looks like it is) One was 2006 and the other seems to be released this August? Mermaidlilli, $90 at Amazon for the version with subtitles, thats a bit much isn't it? I wonder if its a misprint...

    Oh well thats at least 3 meals you can have....... :D I say to my wife that vegetarians in Spain are a little like Introverts, (they do exist but are very hard to find). But seriously I don't know how much of a vegetarian you are (some will eat fish occasionally) but I think you may struggle...
