    'Bicycle Fodder' was not calling a name. It is a recognition of a 'cause' and a potential 'effect'. Those who want to limit hearing are no real issue for me. But the ability to hear approaching aggressive cyclists to help reduce one's risk of being harmed is a good thing in my mind. :)

    I will likely not be the typical reply, but outside of specific venues- churches, plazas, restaurants, etc - I always feel much of the impromptu ‘music’ is akin to aural graffiti. Everyone else’s mileage/opinions may vary. 😄

    Because the need for a taxi can be quite unexpected and out on the Camino away from a town, I made it a practice to take a photo with my phone of the taxi numbers seen in bars or stores I stopped at, and even on paper tags attached to signs where the camino crosses roadways, etc.

    Every backpacking trip that I have done since the age of 5 is a camino. I have only done 3 Pilgrimages, and those began at a point along a route recognized by the Church as an official route into Santiago de Compostela while following their rules.
