Long distance camino
I wonder if starting on the Camino for the second time will be quite different or mostly the same as starting on my first. Will I settle in faster and be less troubled? I guess I will find out soon. What about booking in advance. I cannot say for sure the exact date I will finish the camino... I assume the chances of booking into the santiago parador on the day of my arrival are pretty slim? anyone know?- frmikeminn

Walked 8 miles today with full pack. In the snow. It felt good, smiles all around. (just getting better from a cold.) how is everyone doing getting ready? Just a couple of weeks for us, how about others? I'm working on my med pack tonight while enjoying a martini. :D :D- frmikeminn

a blessing for a pilgrim staff
Does anyone have a resource for blessing a pilgrim staff? I have heard that it is traditional to bless the walking stick of someone going on pilgrimage and I'd be interested to know if someone here has seen or been a part of such a blessing. thanks- frmikeminn
