I have 2 friends who did it in 2 weeks last year at that time of year. One of them wasn't terribly fit and was asthmatic. I can't comment on the crowds, all I know is they loved it. Good luck!
I've heard that the Pilgrim Office in St Jean PdP closes mid-October. How do I get a Pilgrim Passport if I arrive In St Jean PdP and find it closed? I'll probably arrive around 16th or 17th October. Can I order one beforehand?
