how long did you stay in SJPP?

Great information, gracias! In SJPP I have to go to the Pilgrim office but I'm also going to have to buy supplies I'm not travelling with (walking poles, knife for vegetables). I guess it depends what time I get into SJPP

how long did you stay in SJPP?

Trying to plan and I know some have said to stay in SJPP to get your bearings and supplies but I can't figure out how long. Overnight? 2 nights?

picking a start date in April

I just saw this on Facebook .... a list of public holidays in Spain: https://publicholidays.es/es/2018-dates/

picking a start date in April

This is one of the main reasons I'm asking! What if I landed there and all the shops were closed for a special holiday, or the place was overrun for something. I can only think of Holy Week being significant in April, but I'm not Spanish so I don't know. Thanks for the great food for thought...

St Jean to Roncesvalles in a day, or stop at Orisson?

I love that idea of having Camino videos at the treadmill or stairmaster!!

picking a start date in April

How do you pick a starting day? Are there any dates in April that I should shoot for, or avoid? Other than Easter and Holy Week

St Jean to Roncesvalles in a day, or stop at Orisson?

There aren't many big hills where I live .... would stairmaster at the gym be a workout similar to climbing the Pyrennes??

    multiple routes?

    Perfect, thank you!
  9. Carlita416

    multiple routes?

Silly question maybe .... if I start at SJPP is there one route, or many? I want to be sure to go through Roncesvalles.
