Hi Barry, there are no stupid questions, this is what the forum is for. And you will not be considered a cheat by starting in Pamplona, you will still receive all the respect as a fellow pilgrim, that is your Camino... cheats ride taxis or busses in the last 100 km and collect stamps without...

I am so happy that it has meant something to you! Enjoy your Camino- it will be hard sometimes, as anything worth doing will be. But it will also be one of the best things you have ever done, if you let it... Just really pack lite, make sure your shoes are right (light and walked in...) and...

How busy is the Camino Frances at the moment?

I am back home, and I can truly say that I did not ever have one night of not finding good accommodation along the way. Even if it is busy, it never was impossible. I think that is the lesson I learned on the Camino- just keep on walking, and everything will eventually turn out right!

Thank you! The Camino of life continues...

I have walked the Camino from Leon to Santiago from 30 May to 17 June. Some days it went really well, other days my feet killed me, with blisters and cramps. Some days I could follow John Brierley's days in his guide, some days I only did 8.5 km. But I met some wonderful people along the way...
