Ah the little bottle of perfume I'm glad I'm not the only one! I always take a decent face cream (for the ravages of hot and cold weather) and my guiltiest pleasure is collecting items along the Way. Usually a scarf or two, bracelets, earrings etc. They make lovely souvenirs to take home but...- KatWanderlust

Weather in October and what to pack?
Wanderwoman you won't regret it! I've done the Frances twice walking in October, and the Goretex jacket was one of my most valued pieces of gear. It wasn't every day but when it was windy, raining, or even sleeting once or twice I was so grateful to have it on hand. It gets very cold later on...- KatWanderlust

Starting in Roncesvalles in October 2013
Hola Pedro welcome! I walked from St Jean on the 5th October finishing in Finisterre on the 12th November back in 2010. KM 100 marker - Happy to see it, or sad?
This is a really cool question! It's always a bit of a surprise coming up to the 100km marker, you follow the trail, look to the right and wow there it is! How quickly the km go by...
