    February Albergues Availability

    I have been walking from Leon for the past 9 days and majority of albergues and bars are closed. So I wd advise to plan carefully, make reservations and expect some long durations between open locations.

    Totally get where you are coming from. I also have a naturally fast cadence. I am 62 and did SJPP to Santiago in 22 days last years including a couple of unnecessary rest days. I just prefer the walking to sitting around. Good luck!

    I think your I think your comments on language say a lot more about you than the Spanish people. There is no onus on them to speak your language - the onus is on you to speak theirs. Anything else is a bonus.
