    Theft on Camino.

It is always bad when ones get belongings get stolen. I must say that I would never leave my wallet on a bar in any place in the world. Only thing I can say here is that the OP has learned a lesson.

What will be the next one...#help

I walked the camino that shall not be named and the day I came back I ordered a book from Ivar´s shop about the Camino Portugues. I am not really planning but leave for Porto in May and really want to walk the secret camino again.....Stunning and beautiful as it was I feel drawn to do it again.

    The finish line

All I can say is that you just have to walk it and then see for yourself. For me it didn´t matter where I was or where it ended....all that mattered to me was every single day with myself and the people I met. I had several moments on the Camino that were rather emotional and ´Spiritual´ and...

Planning my next Camino and doubting about sleeping in albergues

On the Camino ´Which shall not be named´ I stayed every day in a municipal albergue. Only once in Lugo I booked into a hotel as I needed my private time and a long hot bath as I was exhausted walking 40km. I loved the experience sharing everything with my fellow pilgrims but I can understand...

LIVE from the Camino Only 30 kms to go!

We must have been lucky then. They asked us if we walked in a group and we said yes..... We filled in a form and came back after the mass and picked all up.

LIVE from the Camino Only 30 kms to go!

You can always go with your camino family and they collect your credentials and tell you when to come back and collect the Compostela. Then you won´t need to wait there. That is what we did. I agree to leave the backpack at the hotel and enjoy the mass.....it might all be different when you get...

This is a very Negative Post. A Vent.

Wonderful post and I noticed this when we joined the Camino Frances from another Camino (which shall not be named to keep it the way it is). I was surprised by the attitude of some pilgrims/tourists and made a huge change to the previous days/weeks on a rather extremely romantic and spiritual...

Stones from home, stones from the heart....

What a beautiful idea. I walk the walk for myself and for the loved ones I lost and in memory of my ex partner who died of cancer. I won´t be carrying a stone but light a candle for all my loved ones in every church on my camino and for the ones that are left alone and who lost someone.

    Vegetarianism on the Camino

I used to live in Spain for seven years and never had any problems. My other half is from Madrid and we are thinking of moving back to Madrid in the future. I experienced only problems with dehydration the few days because of the heat as we now live in the UK and I am not used to it anymore...
