I have taken flip flops on two Caminos for shower only- I take a cheap pair of tennis shoes to wear at night. This year (my third camino) I have not yet decided--I would prefer only two pairs as opposed to three counting my Lowa low cut waterproof hike shoes. I am looking at Tevas.
Beginning my third Camino from Orisson on September 23. Hope to run into to some of you. I am a law professor from Texas and on leave this semester. Buen Camino to all.
Sounds like a great time to go as there will be so many of us leaving St. Jean around the first week of October. I will be leaving St. Jean on October 5th and hope to see some of you. This is my third Camino, but first one in the fall. I am from Texas and love warm weather, but am always...
I have done two Camino Frances in March-April and will be doing one this October. I hope to leave St. Jean on the 5 or 6 of October. I am looking for different weather than in the spring. Maybe I will see you.
I will be doing my third Camino this October to the first week of November and am looking forward to it. I have done two Camino (from St. Jean to Santiago) in early March and again in mid March and want to go the Napolean way out of St. Jean. I am also looking forward to flowers and different...
I have done two Caminos in the March April time. Both were enjoyable but I could not do the Napolean way which I want to. I plan to go this September and October--does anyone know it the Napolean way is open and when does it normally close in the fall. Thanks
I wore Goretex Lowa shoes that did not cover the ankle and rain pants. The shoes goet wet in the snow but as much as when in rained all day on the way to Leon. I just put newspaper inside them at night and they were fine the next day. I would not buy heavy boots--of course I do not like...
I did the stretch from St. Jean to Santiago in March, 2014. There was snow and rain in many places; lots of rain approaching Leon and deep snow near and past O'Cebreiro. I am leaving St. Jean on March 13th this year and expect rain and snow in many places. Buen camino
I will be arriving in SJPP on March 5 of this year by train at 19:31 from Bayonne. I like Stellere am wondering whether the Pilgrim office will be open to stamp my passport and help me get a room at the municipal albergue that evening. Thanks Professor
