Hello Evanlow and Peregrinopaul, :) The compeed is a good thing for all peregrinos to have 'just in case'. I used it when the outer edges of my toes got a bit sore as cushioning. I imagine if you had proper cycling shoes clipped in to the pedals, you would not need cushioning for your feet...- Rasamala33
