Lots of great advice, for a solo walker, I am very glad I used the backpack service! Only plan first few nights, then do a couple at a time, watch for festival dates as can be difficult for hostals. I am also glad I used hostals vs albergues but that's just my preference, buen Camino!
I did Ponferrada to Santiago. I stayed at hostals and loved them clean, had my own room with bathroom, and used the backpack service. I stopped in time to visit the towns and villages, and savour my Camino. I used booking.com and had absolutely no problems with my bookings. Buen Camino!
Hi
hello, I walked alone and enjoyed meeting people, but I also treasured having dinner alone to reflect on my day, I never felt isolated, (well one day I did) but you will find sometimes is good to be alone. Also I used hostels and I did book a day or so ahead, so that I knew where I was...
I have had problems both in Spain and US with PCFinancial would recommend taking back up card. I work for a Canadian credit union, and used that card everywhere no problem, Buen Camino
