I did the Camino Frances in 2013 and I brought a 32 GB iPod. It is much lighter and smaller than and iPhone. I took over 2,000 pictures with it, and I had email, Facebook and Skype available to me. iPod does everything an iPhone does -except it does not have a phone.

It sure is: your Camino! I got heat for listening to my iPod along the way. I just shrugged my shoulders and turned it up. I rather enjoyed laying on a soundtrack with the amazing scenery I came across.
