Thank you so much. They all want to put us in hotels instead of albergues. I want the kids to get the "real" experience.

please help: Groups of school students walking the Camino

While hiking the stretch from Sarría to Santiago I noticed large groups of students hiking alongside and staying in the albergues. I am a teacher in Indiana USA and I would like to take a group of students to walk with me that same stretch. I want my students to stay in albergues instead of...

    Hospitaleros needed?

Speaking Spanish is not an issue. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I appreciated the hospitaleros who gave of their time and energy to help us all on our Camino. I would like to do the same. For me as well as the "Caminoists" Trent Shupperd Sent from my iPad using Camino de Santiago...

I am part of the class of 2013. I am a teacher and my schedule allows 2 months of rejuvenation. I can think of no better rejuvenation than being a part of the Camino. Where's the end of the Camino for you?

While walking the Camino I was told about the ceremonial ending in Finisterre so I adjusted my plans to finish there. I am so glad I did. Seeing the sign with 0.00 KM let me know this part of my journey was done. Sitting on the rocks and hearing singing in different languages as sunset...

Post Camino - the place to reflect on your journey

I took the bus to Finisterre and finished my Camino the right way for me. We Peregrinos went to the lighthouse, burneditemsmused on the Camino, and I watched the sunset while reflecting on what happened to me. It was the perfect way to end it for me.
