I think I am just ahead of you, I am in Hospital de Orbigo tonight and was in Leon yesterday. There was some kind of medieval festival going on which was interesting.
Arrived in Burgos today and anxious to begin my walk. Seeing a few pilgrims but not as many as I thought would be here. The weather is perfect, the tortillas cheesy and the caffe con leche delicious. Ultreia
I am starting next Monday so very happy to read such a thorough and informative post. Thank you! Going against all my instincts as an uber-organized person - I have made no reservations except for my first night in Burgos after a long travel day from the Pacific Northwest. I am really...
I am starting in Burgos on Sept. 30 (i might move that up a day) so depending on how long it takes you to get to Burgos from Pamplona - we might cross paths.
Excellent photos and writing... I feel as if I were there. Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us. I will be walking in October - Burgos to Santiago and hope to be as thorough and fun as your posts have been. Buen Camino!!

So sorry you contracted COVID and that it hit so hard... but so glad you are on the mend and able to walk the Camino. Are you on the Ingles now? Buen Camino and hope to hear more about your travels!
Cheers
Love the Vuelta and will be watching from the US. Wish I could be there to see the action in Santiago! Many of the GC riders finished the Tour and then flew off to Tokyo to compete in the Olympics - will be interesting to see how they are holding up for the Vuelta.
Hi Peter - I would love to see your itinerary as well. I am planning for a Spring or Fall 2021 CF if conditions improve and they are allowing US citizens. I don't know how to share private email either but I would love to see your experiences.
Many thanks
Amy

Thanks for your quick response. Sounds like pretty good walking weather - and perhaps wise to plan ahead for lodging. As you say none of us really know what 2021 will look like... I just hope it will be safe to travel again at that time and that US citizens will be allowed in the EU...
Bob - congrats on being able to reserve this far in advance. I am starting to train for a 2021 CF - my first - I did the CP in 2019. Is the weather good in Sept.- Oct? That would be the ideal time - I love the Fall. Thanks and congrats again!
Is it easy to find the bus to Muxia and back? I leave in three weeks for the CP and am definitely adding 4 days of walking out to Finisterre and Muxia - but your experience sounds really nice. Thank you in advance.
