We tried phoning the past two days, yet had no answer. So we decided to walk by this morning after the boat ride from V.de Arousa and take a chance. They are still closed. Here’s a photo of the sign on the door.
We got “shelled” today - in a good way. One of the coolest thing on any of my Camino journeys. On the way to Redondela, a man who drove by us, stopped his car, got out, and asked if he could give us something. He unwrapped his paper towel packages and gave each of us a scallop shell as he wished...

Thanks. We’re waiting at the new (since I was last here in 2022) bus station in Santiago for the bus. It’s a really nice bus station and improvement over the old one.

We’re on our way to Valença, Portugal to begin a short Camino (including Spiritual Variant) tomorrow for school holiday. It’s my daughter’s first Camino experience!
Any experience / recommendations on finding a bus or other transport from Santiago to Valença on a Saturday? I'm hoping to be in Valença on Saturday, 18 March, so I can start there on Sunday, 19 March.
I want to post my trekking poles ahead of me so I can carry on pack on the plane (instead of checking it) ... does anyone know of a place in Porto that receives posted packages for Pergrinos?
