Food on Camino Portugues
I learned a dish I make all the time now.. ensalada simple... just green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, onions, balsamic and olive oil.. with all the walking, that salad really kept me going! I actually liked the fejao but to each his own :) I don't speak Spanish, I speak very crude Brasilian...- Red1too3

We are walking at about the same time! We are flying into Vigo, and going to Valenca to spend the night, then starting our walk there - we had more limited time. My fiance is Brazilian with a Portuguese father, so we speak THAT Portuguese which is different, so it will be a challenge :) and I am limited, but like you said that is part of the fun! Finally, April/May 2013 we start!
We arrive into Vigo on the same date around noon, giving ourselves a day to recoup and starting in the a.m. on Saturday the 27th from Valenca.
