Starting in Porto around September 1st

Hi Duane We did the CP last year and had a great time. First, spend a day in Porto, it is a great city. Second, don't walk out of Porto, it is very industrialized. Take a train north (other posts on Ivar will tell you how), we went 10 stops, I think, got off the train and walked West. We...

Portuguese Central- which stage to skip?

We skipped the walk out of Porto. We took the Metro 10Km north, got off and just walked west until we ran into the ocean; then headed north along the boardwalks. The walks on city streets and cobblestones were a killer on our feet and knees. Buen Camino
