5th time on the Camino Frances April 2015
golly gosh... 24 days is FAST!!!! I ate and drank my way through my snail pace camino, took days off, popped into every open church / cathedral / café along the way ... made it in a 'record breaking' 49 days :-) the knees, dodgy knees = go very slow... and eat....vino....sit...contemplate...- CarlaH

hi Heidi, I have almost zero cartilage in both knees and rheumatoid arthritis - remember to take your meds and get a cortisone shot 8 days or so before your leave... then walk at your pace ... I took a leisurely stroll from SJPdP to Santiago 49 days and no serious issues with knees / joints. I...- CarlaH

hi everyone from a fabulous sunny day in Cape Town ... I did my first Camino May - July 2014 followed by 8 weeks of lying about on beaches in Greece, France, Portugal (I had to recover :-) ) ... I honestly never thought I'd have the need to go back for a re-do ... and I've done nothing but think...- CarlaH
