Hi readers. Don't really need advice but I have 5 1/2 weeks before I start my 4th Frances segment which will take me to Santiago at least. My previous segments finished in Logrono, Belorado and Astorga. I have 12 days which is plenty to get from Astorga to Santiago. What I find a little amusing...
Looking forward to continuing my journey. Walked St Jean to Logrono last year. Family (aged 13 - 50) walked Logrono to Belorado in June. Next stage is Belorado to Leon in August, just myself again. I've enjoyed both the uncertainty of setting off by myself and the completely different...
That's a lot of walking. Makes my 160km to Logrono look like a stroll! I feel pretty well prepared at this stage. I've taken on board all the advice about keeping the pack light. Slight apprehension about the first day's walking (for me to Roncenvalles).
Hi Mark, good luck also in your preparations. I feel fairly organised: next step is to select trail runners. At present I own hiking boots and runners and neither seem to do the job. John.
Won't see you. I'm a week ahead of you. I haven't done anything this adventurous since 1993. Don't know what will happen. But I know the experience is going to be wonderful. Best of luck and enjoy every moment.
Hi community,
Taking my first leg of the journey from St Jean to Logrono 8-16 Sept 2016. First walking day 9 Sept. Looking forward to meeting some of you on the way. Hoping to complete the Camino in about four segments by the end of 2017.
