Hi Ken. Also from Sydney, I'm flying into Paris CDG from where you can get a train to Bayonne (via Bordeaux) and SJPdP, arriving the same day. Cathay gets you into CDG in time for the train from the airport. Might help your planning? I found Trainline.eu excellent for booking trains. Hope that...- Mack

Class of 2018
I plan to do the Camino Frances, from SJPP to Sarria in mid-April. I will then be 78 but don't feel anything like that number. My only concern is loneliness and getting lost!- Mack
