Hi Jill We used Caroline's taxi service last month. She charged us 27 euro each (there were 7 people in the bus altogether) and the bus left Pamplona at 6 p.m. We got to St Jean just before 8 p.m. Hope this helps.

Hi My name is Maria Teresa

I think that's really such good advice - not just for the camino but for life itself. It's something we should all remember.

Hi, I am intending to begin the walk from St Jean on 1st Oct

Wow, seems like people in the 50's are a very active lot. Hubby and I are starting in SJPP towards the end of May 2008 and we both in our 50's :D

    May 2008

We planning on starting in SJP round about 23/24 May. We will be flying into Madrid from Johannesburg, SA. Unfortunately we'll only be able to walk for about 2 weeks. Finding the planning very exciting and can't wait for next year!!
  19. M

    Eventually doing it!!!

That's one of the reasons why we starting at SJPP - hubby couldn't rush if he tried (doesn't even know the meaning of the word!!!). We would rather enjoy the whole experience and not walk as far - good reason to go back and walk some more.

    Eventually doing it!!!

 I don't think so ....... my son-in-law maybe but definitely not her. She's coming out to SA in March next year so will be bringing us the updated book from CSJ.
