Your Camino sounds idyllic, don't worry about age or the suspect knee. You are already experiencing the friendship of fellow pilgrims with Bridget & Peter's offer. Enjoy all the Camino has to offer. Look forward to a report on your return.
Buen Camino

Arn, I have to differ with your suggestion that walking in 2010 practically guarantees your camino will be memorable.
I thought all caminos were memorable in some way or another. How vivid is the memory of the first sello along the way, the weather that challenges so many, the obstacles to...
Arn,
You will always be remembered as one of our mentors in 2008.

Tony Kevin wrote "Walking the Camino - a modern pilgrimage to Santiago" - in which he relates his experiences along the way from Granada to Santiago (Via Mozarabe and Via de la Plata)

Clarisa,
That's really great. It doesn't seem that long ago you were having trouble with your heel and the prognosis was doom and gloom. Today, it's a different story you are all fired up and the world is looking positive again for you. Well done and enjoy the rest of your preparation and...
Hi to all the Class of 2008,
Been a forum member since April, 2007. We took up the challenge of Ivar and our son to undertake a Camino of our own around that time.
Read the daily new posts and have gained a wealth of information into what preparation is required to make the best of our...
