The patch is great! It help the recognition of friend you may not know otherwise. Although I have figured out that most of us are friends already. We just didn't know it. ;)

We went in October last year and plan to do it again in October this year. I'm hoping to finish in Spring 2010, before the rush
Enjoy, I'm sure the end of May is going to be wonderful!
We only had a week to walk and figured we would do it from SJPDP and just go until we were out of time. The mountain walking was tough for us flatlanders but it was a great time, sore feet and all. We spent an extra day in Pamplona and ate very well :D
YES, you have hit the nail on the head. The Celtic people ventured to the End of the Earth before the Christians. The Camino is rooted in spirituality and belief.

Hi Patricia,
I read a great story about a Father and Son from Ireland who walked the Portuguese route. It really sounded nice. Here is a link to the story, http://www.independent.ie/travel/pilgrim-father-and-son-1431856.html

Congrats on your decision to walk the Camino! I think it's like a siren's song. "Come to me. Let your heart be light. Shed your worries and find a simple life."
I'll miss you I'm afraid since we will be a month behind your journey. Good Luck!

Hi Class of 2008,
I've been lurking around for a week since I found your site. I thought it would be good to introduce myself because you are a friendly bunch :)
My name is Nicole and I plan to walk the Camino with my husband Rob the last part of October. I think we are going to start in...
