Were you able to find resources for this camino? Did you walk? I have never heard of this route. I googled and the Confraternity of St. James says that "This is one of the most beautiful of pilgrim caminos with respect to both the natural and the built environment." Now I am intrigued. I am...
Arriving CDG March 30, 2017. Will be spending the night in Bayonne. Hoping to car pool with Express Bourricot morning of March 31. Planning to stay in SJPdP March 31 and start walking April 1, exactly 5 years to the day when I started walking from SJPdP on April 1, 2012. I hope the weather will...
I will be at Triana Backpackers in Sevilla Saturday May 3. I will start walking Sunday May 4. Hope to meet some of you in Sevilla or on the path. Buen camino. -Hieu
Thanks for your answers to #1 & #3 (on another thread). How about #2, what should I be aware of starting my walk from Sevilla on a Sunday? Buen camino, Hieu
Finally bought tickets. Will arrive in Sevilla Friday, May 2, in the evening. Plan on sleeping 2 nights at Triana (will email them my reservations) and start walking Sunday, May 4th. I would like some advice & information:

I had planned to walk the VdLP this Spring, but something came up and I was not going to be able to. However, now things have changed and I might be able to walk. So I came back to this VdLP thread to read the latest postings. I thought that I had wandered into the wrong forum. These...
Hi Jenny, I would love to meet you on the Camino. Unfortunately I actually ended up leaving March 28 and returning May 20, 2012, walking from SJPDP to Finisterre and Muxia. The reason I moved the date up is because my second daughter recently planned to have her wedding early October. I also...
Hi Alan,
I'm also 63, having retired a couple of years ago. I will start my camino at SJPP the second half of May. I have not decided on the date yet. I was at UConn and worked in Northeast Connecticut for about 15 years. Hope to see you on the trails.

Hi Steve,
I'll also be starting my camino at St. Jean in late May. I'm currently in Sacramento, CA. However, I was at St. Mary's College of Maryland for 4 years. Hope to see you on the trails.

Thank you Margaret. I just found out that one of our daughters just set her wedding date in early October, 2012. So it'll definitely be May for me. Given your information, I assume that later in May is better? When is a good time? I plan to start at SJPP.
Thanks again.

Hi, I'm a 63 y/o retiree from Sacramento, California, USA. I plan to walk my first Camino Frances sometime in May 2012. I'm looking forward to meeting fellow pilgrims along the way. I will post more definite plans (dates and locations) as they solidify.
Peace,
Hieu
I am planning to walk in May or Sept 2012 as I've been told that the weather should be good and the Camino Frances would be less crowded. I'm from Sacramento, California, USA. I've pre-ordered the 2012 edition of John Brierley guide. Looking forward to the walk and to meeting fellow pilgrims...
I plan to walk my first pilgrimage in either May or Sept 2012 for the good weather that's been recommended on the forum. If I walk in Sept, hope to see you on the trails. I'm from Sacramento, CA. -Hieu
