If her pack is 12 K , she is taking way too much stuff. She should be carrying 1/2 that much. I can tell you for certain, she is not going to be a happy camper and neither will you as she tries to deal with the weight.
Hi Bill,
Just a thought, but you probably won't be arriving in SJPDP till evening. I would spend the 9th in St. Jean and begin walking on the 10th, especially if you are going over the Pyrennese in one day. St Jean is a beautiful village and the extra day will get you over a little jet lag and...
Buen Camino Kevin,
My hubby and I walked the same time last year leaving just a week after you. It is a great time to walk and aren't you lucky to have a supervisor who is letting you make this journey come true.
Not sure about Biarritz your first night, but I would highly recommend Beleiri in SJPDP for your second night. It is a great Albergue just across from the pilgrims office with a mandatory dinner. This is a great way to meet others before you start off on your Camino. We did this last September...
I am now back. Arrived last night at midnight. It is good to be hme, but I will miss my Camino friends and the most wonderful experience of my life taking a walk through history and across such a beautiful country. I can't say enough about this website, forum and our great group of Sept...
Hola, just want to let my Sept. Peregrino buddies know we arrived in Pamplona today on day 4. For thosecof you who are staying in Or is son, you will not be disappointed. Sat on the wonderful porch allsftern9n with new Camino friends and drank lots of wine while watching the amazing view.
We have to eat mandatory meal at Beilari at 7:30, so should be available after 8:30 or so. Maybe we can all meet at Chez Dede. You can get something to eat before then at your choice. My hubby and I will be the two short ones with the really short hair.
Don't forget Gerard and gang. Can't wait...
I'm pretty sure they are running busses on the same schedule. Think the tracks are being worked on. You can get on the bus with the train ticket. Anyone out there, correct me if I'm wrong.
