    Arrived in Santiago on the 18, limping but completed! Thrilled to see my wife who met me there. We are now in Paris seeing the sights and ready to fly home tomorrow! It's been a Buen Camino. Thanks for all the insight from the forum. Fred, take care of yourself, you are a good man!

    I'm in Palas de Rey tonight, walked in rain all day today but found a clothes dryer, electric that is, so at least I will start the day tomorrow dry. Many more pilgrims on the trail since Sarria. Three days to Santiago! Buen Camino!

    I'm in Cardeñuela this evening at the Albergue Via Minera, €8 and €8 for a meal, nice place to stay after the rather rocky climb up and out of Villafranca de Montes de Oca. By the way the albergue there is also good San Anton Abad. Tomorrow Burgos! Buen Camino

    Spending Sunday in Logrono to celebrate my 60th birthday. They have gone all out to welcome us, with a week-long party. The fireworks last night were powerful as the festival of San Mateo continues. Tomorrow, off to Najera Buen Camino

    I'm settled in at Sansol, after a 28k day from Estrella. It's been a wonderful camino so far, amazing scenery, good food, and most of all many new friends from around the world! I'm taking a rest day in Lagrono on Sunday and will check in again then, Buen Camino

    Yes, me too! I'm booked at Gite Ultreia on the 13th, and plan to begin by 7am on the 14th. Roncevalles on the evening of the 14th if all goes well.

    Leaving for Paris in 27 hours, planning to stay three days there, then train to Bordeaux for a night, then on through Bayonne to St. Jean. Start walking on the 14th! I'm either very excited or frightened, not sure which.
