    Take my word for this or not. They don't ask for your knife size. They simply ask that you step away from your bags and search them, it is not a very nice experience.

    Make sure your pocket knife is short and within the limits. I caught a ride into Spain from France for my last camino and was stopped at the border by customs. They searched the car and confiscated the pocket knives since they could not find anything else...
