It really was quite a hike the first day out of Almargem and the hardest part was after lunch. I used Wikiloc all the way (I was alone most of the way) and there were various routes that were helpful. I stayed in one hotel that was all stone and gorgeous and worth it. I can give you more info...

So glad you are doing this! I walked the CPI in 2017 and some of the way was harrowing and not possible without Wikilocs. Aurelio Simones helped me with the stages til I got into Spain.
