Thanks for your advice, albinvega. Currently in Bayonne and made a stroll through the lovely city centre. A French lady I met on the bus told me also that the average hotel prices are lower than in Biarritz, so it all adds up (July 14 celebrations also seem to be mainly held in Biarritz). Getting to Pamplona from Barcelona
Hi Jane, If my information is correct, there's still a bus from Pamplona to Roncesvalles. In summer it departs twice a day (10 AM and 6 PM). In other seasons there's just the 6 PM bus.
