I was planning on doing the 2nd half of the GR65, the chemin de St Jacques, in 2018but got food poisoning, then in 2019, but missed out due to a second bout with appendicitisthen missed out due to Covid, like most of us, i am planning a 6 month trip.....but who knows what will happen. Bus CDG to Paris - Is Pre-Purchased Ticket Necessary?
Remember that the train station is right under CDG. There is a ticket office that will hold your ticket. The trains go to lots of other places than Paris. I got one direct to Lyon and from there one to Le Puy. I did GR65. STRIKE La grève....The whole of France is now on STRIKE. 1 in 3...- Carolethecatlover

Travelling from Barcelona to Le Puy in late August.
I flew from Australia to Paris in June 2018, and from under the Charles de Gaulle airport is a train station, and a direct high speed train to lyons, 2 and a half hours, and from there to Le Puy, (Paris to Le Puy 120 Aussie dollars) not so far, but another 2 and a half hours.
