I will be doing the same thing in August, but I was thinking I'd go thru customs in Madrid, then shuttle to a domestic terminal for Iberia flight. Anyone have experience with this situation?- Connie Ramage

JULY Train tickets now on for sale from SANTIAGO to MADRID
Thank you for letting us know when train tickets are available. I need tickets from MAD to Pamplona in August. They are now available. However, in previous years there was a 11:35 am train. Getting through immigration and customs at Madrid airport
Fyi-we arrived at MAD at 9:05 am on Thurs. Customs went smoothly, lots of walking, escalators, tram, down to luggage retrieval, which we had our QR code scanned before entering. We took a taxi to Atocha, 30 euros and approx 15-20 min. Arrived an hour early for out 11:35 train to Pamplona. We...- Connie Ramage

1 Hr time between flights doable in Madrid?
American did the same to me. I booked Dayton-CLT-MAD RT, with 3 hour layovers. In May AA rerouted me DAY-DFW-MAD, with a 9 hr layover going and 5 hr on return. I spent 2 hrs on hold to protest and was pretty much told too bad and nope-no food vouchers either. I will be tired when I reach SJPP...- Connie Ramage
