Anyone coming to SJPP via San Sebastian on the 26th? Share a train, or other transportation? Would like to get there early...I think the train gets there around 1030hrs, (if it's running these days?) and would love to make it with you!
This is the way I'm doing it. I'll be arriving the day before, and then spending the night on the "tapas tour", as suggested by this forum (yayyyy!)
There's a 0715 train out of San Sebastian for Bayonne I think. I believe the one in the morning is in SJPP about 2hours later.
Hey TinCat Tinker, thanks!
I am not flying into SanSebastian...but Bilbao. Staying over in town, so the Hendaye connection seems out.
The trains are the way I will likely go unless I can catch a ride share.
Thanks so much for following this up!
Hey JaimeU!
Did you find the way to get there?
I was looking for May...almost exactly a month after you, for the same thing, and I think it's two trains, one to Bayonne, and then another to SJPP.
What did you learn?
Kind regards,
gary
Hi, soooo...
...just cancelled night #1 in SJPP and decided to hang, per your suggestion, in San Sebastian! Pension Amara looks great!
Thanks for your help!
Train in the morning and the adventure begins in earnest with the Coquille Napolean in SJPP!
Greetings to all!
25May2023, I arrive to Bilbao. Seems my best bet, outside of a VERY pricey taxi is to get myself to Pamploma, and then onto SJPP.
Would anyone be able to comment on whether, "in their humble opinion" (hahah, LOVE that!) it would be easy to make it there following a 1530...
