Details on how to go from Bayonne to Saint Jean Pied de Port
Don´t get too fussed if you don´t buy a ticket beforehand. It took me all of 2 mins to buy a ticket (8.6E) and then head out the station, turn left and head to the parking lot where the bus was waiting. Put my rucksack in the boot, and we were off 5 mins later. Took the 11.47a.m. bus...- amtrakker

Cheap Accomodation in Bayonne?
I stayed in Hotel Etap to the east of the town centre (about a 20 min walk from the train station). It cost 38Euros for a double room, very comfortable, and excellent value breakfast for 4.70E. Plus they gave a voucher for the adjacent restaurant - great meal for 20E. Link below...- amtrakker
