Santiago airport-Villafranca del Bierzo.
8 hrs!!! not at all, I think about 4-4.5. Anyway we left Dublin at 6:30 am, our evening meal in Villafranca, had a stroll around, bed early and was on the road for 8:30 next morning...not a bother...ages 71 & 68!- countycork

Flight from Dublin - Madrid. Bus from Madrid to Villafranca and walk from there....that's the way we did it in September!- countycork

arriving in biarritz, should I head straight to sjpdp
I would suggest - stay the night in SJPdP, we did and started walking the next morning. It’s a lovely town, visited Pilgrim office, got our shell etc and there was a great Camino buzz about the place as soon as we arrived! Starting back at Pamplona.
Hi Denis Fly from Dublin to Biarritz, bus then to Pamplona with a change in San Sebastian. I can’t remember how long the wait in San Sebastian was but we didn’t mind. We had time to have something to eat and have a stroll around what looks like a beautiful city. We did that in ‘reverse’ 2 years...- countycork

Hi all Arriving Biarritz airport Wed 29th Ryanair flight from Dublin, approx 12:30, hoping to start Camino in Pamplona that day,meeting friends there. Any trains/buses going that route or perhaps share taxi?- countycork
