    Unfortunate, but true...

I would point out that your boss would likely fire you rather than miss a single quarter's bonus and wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over it. You owe nothing to your boss and it has nothing to do with the Camino. If your boss cared anything for you he wouldn't let you skip any part of your...

    Unfortunate, but true...

You will be skipping the part where you are about to have that moment of epiphany...like being about to receive enlightenment and then the dinner bell rings, so you leave. I suggest you use your PTO days, then tell your employer you got sick in Spain and are quarantined. It's not about Santiago...

Best way to SJPDP from USA

Paris and Madrid are probably the easiest destination airports. From Paris you can grab a train that takes you to Bayonne and then another train to SJPDP. From Madrid the train is faster than bus and takes you to Pamplona and then a bus to SJPDP. In the past when I have done that it's tricky to...

Wanted to arrive at SJPDP via Biarritz..... confused

I usually fly into either Paris or Madrid. They have several trains a day that take you to Bayonne and from there you connect to SJPDP. If you fly to Madrid, you can take the train to Pamplona and then a bus over to SJPDP. You can use the OMIO app to book it.

    Overstayed 90 days? From UK?

I wouldn't do it without checking first. They may have a longer tourist visa they could issue if you do it in advance.

Take the bus from Bayonne. They pick up right outside the train station.

Best way to SJPDP from USA

Yeah, I used to fly to Madrid or Barcelona, but I just checked again and Paris seems to be the cheapest for May 1st for a direct flight.

Best way to SJPDP from USA

Depending on which airport you fly out of, the Madrid flights have been more expensive than Paris. I'm booked from LAX to Paris (ORLY) on May 1st for $400. The flight to Madrid was something like $1000. The train from Paris leaves from Montparnasse station at like 7:30am and arrives in SJPDP...

Stuck in Paris! Help a first time pilgrim get to SJPDP

Most of the flights are pricey but I'm showing one on Vueling on Sunday for $83, which I think is like 75 Euros. It's Charles de Gaulle airport to Bilbao at 3:55 p.m.
