My travel to the Camino was like this:
I left St. Jean on a Friday morning. My travel began that Tuesday morning. 3 flights and hours sitting in airports got me to my hotel room in Paris on Wednesday afternoon. I didn't sleep very well and was thrown off by the time change. Then spent Thursday...
Your mileage may vary, but when I went through customs at CDG, I handed my passport to an officer who didn't even look at me, or my passport, stamped it on a random page and threw it back to me. I swear, the time from me getting off the plane to picking up my bag was less than ten minutes...
My plan right now is to spend a day or 2 in Paris, doing all the Parisy stuff, like seeing the Eiffel Tower, eating croissants and whatnot, etc. And then, well, I haven't quite figured out exactly how to get down to St. Jean, but I'm sure there's a way. :wink:

I'm sure Iceland is a wonderful country but Camino fever has completely taken over me right now and the idea of delaying it even for a couple more days is more than I can...
